Dr. Rob and Dr. Tara are both extremely active, and know that whether you are a runner, golfer, tennis player, skier, basketball player or dancer, you'll want to get back to your chosen sport as soon as you can. They will work with you to develop a customized recovery program. Dr. Rob is a CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner).
If you have TMJ or other jaw pain, we invite you to see if chiropractic care can help. We assess and identify joint-tracking abnormalities and work to restore normal jaw function and bite mechanics.
We treat not only the neck and back but also jaws, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, ankles, knees, feet, and hips.
If you've been suffering from plantar fasciitis, or suspect you are, we are here to help. We understand how painful and inconvenient it is, and will work with you to help resolve it.
Orthotics can help with a variety of issues; an exam and gait assessment can determine if they may be of use for you. If you need orthotics, we will make plaster casts of your feet, which are then used to create high-quality, custom orthotics. We use the neutral foot position casting technique, which results in a much more effective orthotic than standard "weight bearing" imprints.
We offer a wide range of physiotherapy to help you heal. This could include exercises, neuromuscular stimulation, ultrasound and muscle release.
Migraines as well as regular headaches can be triggered by neck misalignment and we have helped many people successfully resolve their migraines and headaches through chiropractic adjustments.
Because the cells that control your sense of balance are located not only in the inner ear but also in the neck, vertigo can be caused by neck misalignments, which is why chiropractic care can often help.
Your doctor will perform an examination of the spine and affected body regions in order to form a working diagnosis of your problem. The exam may include visual inspection of the area, palpation, joint range of motion, orthopedic and neurological tests. Dr. Tara and Dr. Rob will explain each step, and answer any questions you may have.
Also known as an “adjustment”, chiropractic manipulation is the foundation of our approach to healing and wellness. There are many styles and techniques, and while all of them are effective at restoring joint motion and movement within the body, we work with you in order to select the ones that suit your individual needs.
The techniques we utilize in our office include:
You'll consult with either Dr. Tara or Dr. Rob, who will ask you about your health history and why you've sought chiropractic care. They treat patients of all ages, activity levels, abilities, and sizes. From ultra marathoners to student soccer players and those with severe or chronic health issues, there is a place for you at Walsh Chiropractic.
